"Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) is a public-private partnership responsible for economic development in the State of Florida. As Senior Vice President, I am overseeing the International Trade & Business Development division of EFI. Currently EFI operates 13 international offices in 12 countries. Our offices are run by contractors that we retain to represent the State of Florida in countries of strategic commercial interest to Florida, including Germany.We have worked with PM & Partner Marketing Consulting GmbH (PM&P) since May 2006. The majority of their work is to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) from the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) to our state. In addition, they participate in major trade shows held in Germany, organize high-level meetings for Florida officials traveling to Germany and help Florida small and mid-sized companies export their products and/or services to Germany.We are very pleased with the performance of PM&P as our representative in Germany over the past years. Since PM&P has been representing us in Germany, we have had a significant increase in the number and quality of FDI projects from the German-speaking countries that they have sent to Florida.
